Need help with my PBT ID

my PBT has some sort of parasites but im not sure what...what should i dose him with and is all i need for a quarintine a tank, heater, powerhead and should i use new mixed salt water or some from the tank hes comming out of??do i need a skimmer and also sand and lr isnt neccessary is it??thanks

that tang is very very skinny. I suggest following the link above and start hypo treatment and start feeding it more food.

BTW your tank is to small for a PBT. that and it being so underfed is prob. the cause of the ich.

yeah i know he needs a bigger tank...but my wife brought her home because she liked it...and so im kinda stuck with it...not saying i dont like them, because i do there beautiful animals but i also know that it does need a bigger tank...so maybe after i quarintine it i will see if she'll be okay with tradeing it in for a different fish thats meant to be in a 55gal tank :)

also thanks for the link kzickovich i just got my qt tank set up a few minutes ago and am waiting for the water to get up to temp so hopefully tomorrow i can get her in there and feeling better!!!
