i recently purchased a new skimmer and am unsure how to adjust the foam level.i know that i should be turning the tube that has open and close labels on it.what will happen if i turn the tube all the way one way or the other? thanks for the help

All the way open - foam will be too low
All the way closed - the foam with overflow into the collection cup

To Adjust:
Leave the air valve all the way open (or until right before the screw comes of). Turn the overflow pipe to the open position. Turn on the skimmer. Slowly turn the overflow pipe to the closed position until the foam rises about 2 inches below the told of the collection cup.

Remember that the skimmer must be in 6"-8" of water and that the overflow outlet (where the water comes out) must be above the water line.
