Hello all,
I am having a really hard time controlling the drip rate coming from my calcium reactor. I have a needle valve on the end of the line which I thought would help but it didn't. I also run a SP3000 pump which I pull the water through the reactor with. It just slows down and it stopped the other day and my Alk went down to 6.0 while I was gone for a few days. So I pose the question to everybody, how do you control your drip rate? Thanks.

I use a pvc needle valve from U.S. Plastics.
My reactor is fed by a manifold off of my Dart return.

My reactor is feed off my return pump, drip rate controlled just using on of those 1/4 turn valves, 1/4" push in JG fitting on the reactor input side.

If the valve is on the output would be pressurizing your reactor.
