I am chasing one infection after another with my clark clownfish...
Severe popeye along with black patches on mouth.
Have had a course of erythromycin (1 1/2 months ago...cleared one black patch on head...no change in popeye.
Tried Furanase which mostly cleared up the black patch on mouth and maracyn 2 afgter that for mouth fungus.
Still no change on the popeye which continued to worsen.
I did a freshwater dip before going away last week. Returmed to find the mouth patch has worsened and the eye has all kinds of
debris on it...very bad. He is eating however.
So I am wondering since he responded to the Furanase last month..that perhaps I would run another course of that along with kanamycin(which I did not have access to before)
I am wondering if I am chasing all these infections because he actually has flukes or parasites of some kind. None visible.
He has been off food at times but is currently eating so that keeps me encouraged.
Could I treat with Fluke tabs along with the furanase/kanamycin?
