Hello All,

I have scrapped the whole species tanks idea, and am setting up a new tank based on my recent purchase of a 120 gallon Tech. Here is the necessary kid in aquarium picture.

I also ordered this light.
Current USA Fluorescent Nova Extreme
CU01123 48" 432W 3.72A 4x54W-10,000K Daylight/
4x54W-460nm Actinic 4 D 48"x14.0"x2.5"

Wanted to go Metal Halide but heard good things about this.

Now I need to make a stand. Anyone have any ideas.

Ken

Nothing excited to report...I moved the nano cube (man that was heavy) and the other small tanks, and installed the new stand. Installed the lighting, etc. Tomorrow check for level and on friday set the new aquarium on the base.

Got home after work and looked at the damage. Things did not go as bad as I originally thought. I lost 2 pieces unfortunately they were both one of my favorites. The Pom Pom Xenia and frogspawn I got from Joe. The mushrooms, RBTA, Zooanthids all look fine. The clown and scooter also look fine. Heck even the Sexy shrimp are enjoying their time in the Fuge!

Some good news, I got my new light.

sflorlando is a terrible name (one of my domain controllers at work). My real name is Ken.

More to come shortly, adding the water is such an exciting part.

that was a pretty sick Camaro Jon has.

I need to start thinking about my sump pump. The pump has to be a submersiable.

One thing I am not sure about is the GPH I need out of this thing. Is more really better? The main movement and current in the tank will be generated from internal pumps. Hopefully a pair of vortechs or a tunze wavebox plus some supplemental power heads.

Thinking about a single Eheim 1262 or a Mag Drive. It will need to be split into both outlets which are also split into two outlets. Obviously each split will decrease the output. Will it be enough, I guess I can go with one and see if it works and if it doesn't add an additional one.

Mag drive also makes a good pump.

I think I read a thread you wrote JUICE in which you wanted the best output for the least wattage.
