Does anyone have any info about these fish? My local LFS has just gotten one in stock and it is breathtaking...........but I cannot find any info. If anyone has any experience with this fish, a link, or pictures of it I would greatly appreciate!

I have one in my 210 gallon fowlr and they are mildly aggressive.kind of like a niger trigger. Not aggressive to the point of killing things but territorial and very aggressive when it comes to food.I got her when she was about 1.5" and now she is about 2.5" after 6 months. So they are a fast grower like some of the other triggers. But i also feed super heavy to curb aggression as i have alot of aggressive triggers in my tank. Here are some pics of when i first got her.

Is your golden heart very personable? Or is it shy and tends to hide?

No she never hides. She is out all the time begging for more food. And she is just like my larger queen trigger.Between the two of them they have the most personallity of all my triggers.Originally posted by sportyrox

I read that the GHT isn't aggressive at all and is passive......do you agree?

What do you feed him?

yes and no.He isnt aggressive as say my queen or clown trigger, but he is not as passive as my niger and picasso trigger.I think right now it is more territorial than anything. But he can hold his own, even against my queen trigger which is three times he size.Originally posted by saltyESQ

I feed them everything from pellets to formula one, krill, squid, fresh clams, brine, mysis, silversides. The only thing i don't feed them is anything live.I have noticed with my other triggers over the years that if you feed them live food it tends to bring out there aggression faster. And with multiple triggers in the same tank you want to keep the aggression down as long as you can.I have been pretty lucky but like said i feed extremely heavy.Originally posted by sportyrox
