I am new to SPS, and I am setting up my 26g bowfront really soon.

My lighting is a 24" tek light from reefgeek.com 96w, with individual reflectors.

I would really like to keep a monti cap in this tank if it can be done...

What other SPS corals are there good for beginners?

I have a koralia 2 as flow.

The monit cap should be no problem, as for others; Pavona, pocillapora just to name a couple. There are some acros that are fairly hardy too, can't remember off the top of my head though.

Montipora digitata are pretty easy to keep, too. However, you need to set the tank up and get it stable before you add even easy sps. It could take 4 - 6 months or more before you get it stable. You don't want to put in any corals for a couple of months, at least.

Birdnests are pretty easy too.

Green slimmers are easy and they grow fast too.
