Hello-
I'm looking to upgrade to a ATI light system.
Would the new sunpower 48" fixture be suitable for my setup or would the 8 x 54w PM would be enough for my standard rectangle 90 gallon tank.
Is the new sunpower available in the USA?
It is sps dominated.
thanks

I don't think the sun power is available here.
I think the 6 bulb would work on that tank. A 8 bulb fixture was recommended for my 120 tank which is 6 inches deeper front to back than a 90.

I am having the same dilemma. I want the 8 bulb but I am afraid it will be too much or too big for my tank. Although, with the investment at stake, I want to be able to use it on a larger tank if I wanted to.

with the cost og the powermodule it is worth getting a price on a sunpower and having it shipped over here.
I just don't know if 6 six bulbs is enough...

How much is the sunpower in usd if you got is shipped?
I would go on Reefgeeks site and email Greg Morgan your question. He responds to emails pretty quickly.

I don't think the overseas versions work over here. We have different voltage in US than they use in Europe.

in my opinion the Powermodule ATI is the best oportunity to have perfect fixture. I've tried and tested almost all fixtures avaliable in Europe and powermodule is the last and the one:) like I've wrote in my july totm article, it is done perfect, it is very funcional. One thing that i would change is plexiglass shield in one piece - two part shield would be more funcional while changeing bulbs. Powermodules itself are beautifull, can be ornament over tank:)
here article and pics how it looks like over tank:

szymon- this fixture is the exact same as the powermodule accept it doesn't have the nice aluminum fixture- it is made by ATI...
The most bulbs the sunpower has is 6 bulbs though...
I like you tank. I was trying to fugire out exactly which zeovit products you use when you were first listed as TOF.
Also- you had mentioned about using carbon. you say that you have it in a sock in your sump- can you elaborate a little more on this?
thanks

I change carbon in a sock once a month about 1 liter, don't prepare it before like some people do.

szymon-
you just have a filter bag with carbon sitting in a high flow area of your sump? you do you have it in something else setup another way?
thanks
