My current tank is 135 gallons 72"l x 18"w x 22" h. Barebottom

My light is a 72" fixture with 3 400 watt MH and 2 72" vho bulbs. It has no reflective properties left. The side two lights haven't been working, I pulled the wires up tight toward the ceiling and they are working now.

Got a wiring issue I know.

My question is whether to by lumenbright reflectors $110 and try to use my existing ballasts, or to buy 250 watt lumenbrights as a set $220. Not sure how much electricity I will save by doing this, and since I'm BB I'm not sure i really need the 400's. OR T5's??????

Also....my euroreef cs-2plus skimmer, what would be a skimmer for a BB tank up to 300 gal?

I'd like to get a bigger tank sometime in the future. I really want a 24" or 30" would be awesome wide tank. The hight at most would be 30" but I prefer nothing taller than 24. Whatever I buy would need to go to a bigger tank, I hope.

250's would be fine on a 24" deep tank. Lumenbright's will be great on a 24" wide tank but the Lumenarc gives a better spread of light if you decide on a 30" wide tank.

i'm leaning toward buying the 250 setup. do you think i'll save much money running the 250 compaired to the 400's? For example $5 per month saving or more or less?
