Monti-cap care

Would a monti-cap live/thrive in a AGA 29 gallon with a 144 watt T-5 lighting system, a Bak pak skimmer, and a 20 gallon sump?? JW Because i want to get a nice one and watch it grow. I love em :D

A monti cap would grow under PCs i had one in a 30 gal with pcs & outgrew the tank.

Alright thanks for the info. I really got into them when i saw that someone had glue them to the back wall of there tank! i want to put one on the edge of a rock and make it spread out like you see in real reefs. So how much is a decent looking one?? ive seen frags that are an inch at the LFS for 25 or so

f you can get a good one at the lfs for $25 I'd get it. If you buy one from an online store or someone who has to ship it, it will cost you at least that much or more just for the shipping.
