I accidently posted this in the Chemistry Forum, so I'm re-posting it here...
I'm going on vacation so I started a thread about auto-feeders which progressed to auto-top offs. Someone suggested "what if your power goes off". Well, that same day we lost power off and on for two days! One stretch without power was over 24 hours.
I went out and bought a JBJ ATO and set it up. I tested it out by draining some water out of my sump and it worked perfectly. Hope it works while I'm gone...
BTW I spent $80.00
