Just wondering how long I need to wait til the release of the 1073.040. I am redisigning my tank to be more energy efficient. I would like to use this as my return pump.

Right now every new Interzoo product is ahead of schedule, we got the first 6065's and 6085's today and the Nano Wavebox and remaining Stream 2's will likely be ready for September. Unfortunately, I just got an update today and the 1073.02 and 1073.04 as well as the new skimmer pumps have hit a small production delay due to a faulty part we sourced and we now have to have it made again by another supplier. Right now we expect they will be ready in the last week of August in limited numbers.

The 1073.04 will be amongst the quietest pumps you could buy, if not the quietest, MSRP is $161.70.

Would you specs for this pump?

Also, any other return pumps that will do about 2000G/h for about 75 - 100W?

Simon

was there an older version of this?
1073.040 pump? cant seemt o find the information on it,.
it is particularly the 040a. looks just like the 030.
whats the dfiference between the older 040a and the 030. (old) and will those older models run silent as well?

040 just had a name change to 030. These designations come from the number of liters per hour, just like a 6025 does 2500 l/hr. When it was first released the flow did not meet the target of 4000 l/hr so we changed the name the following year to accurately reflect the flow.

JarHead or Roger,
Can we control the tunze Master Circulation 1073.090 will do 2200gph @ 120w for less flow and less electricity? Will restricting the output use less electricity?

Also ROger is the target release of 1073.02 and 1073.04 still end of Aug 08?

Thanks Much
Simon

Simon, Tunze decided to change some electronic component to make it better therefore it may be a bit delay but that is on the Stream. I am not sure about the Master Circulation.

The tunze Master Circulation 1073.090 will do 2200gph @120w you cannot control the output to lower the energy consumption like the sequence but one thing i know for sure is that you do not need to worry about heat...

How will we be able to tell the difference between the current 1073.030 and the new one when ordering since the part numbers are now the same??? I have been waiting for the release of this pump as well and just want to make sure I order the new one...

Anyone know of a vendor taking preorders???

rvitko

Restricting the output on just about any pump will reduce the power consumption but I have not tested this on the 1073.09 so I don't have actual numbers. I do know that major restrictions tend to make the pump noisier.

The new pumps are 1073.02 and 1073.04, there is no new 1073.03, it will be discontinued.

All the skimmer pumps are delayed, it will affect the 9410-9480.

For more details on any of these items please download the Interzoo 2008 flyer from our website.

I spoke to Mr. Tunze Tuesday and he expected that we would have a limited number of pumps ready and available in mid September.

Simon, for your system you will need at least 2 :D... I'll take 2 myself...

We don't sell direct so I have no way to sign you up, you would need to find a dealer who would take a preorder.

At MACNA I will have the Nano Wavebox and the 9010 skimmer and a 6065. We will also demo many of our current products but that is all I will have from the new line up.

The 6105 is the same size as the 6065 correct??? So it should give us an idea of what to expect when its released???

Runfrumu

Yes 9410, and by the way, I won't be showing it, they sent me the complete sump kit shown above but due to shipping it came smashed to pieces and is worthless and I don't think we will get the replacement in time. But, I will have the Stream 2 and Nano Wavebox.

OK, I got an update yesterday, the drive unit had a major change that simplified production, and resulted in a quieter pump but also created a delay. Instead of a ceramic shaft and sleeve the cermaic shaft is fixed into the magnet and spins in two ceramic cups on either end. The pump is ready and in production. All the packaging and manuals are ready and they should start to ship in November, I should have them here by the 15th.

Well, I understand the benefits of the fixed shaft design, but if it is like the new aquabee design a broken shaft means the entire impeller has to be replaced. Very costly.

rvitko
10/15/2008, 12:43 PM
It wouldn't make a difference as we already include the shafts with drive units on all our existing pumps that have a shaft.
