I was trying to use google to search this site since I think I've seen this before - I'm thinking of getting a calcium monitor - how effective are these?

Is it really a simple case of just using them (maybe an occasional adjustment) and getting good results? Accuracy?

I was looking into getting one until I found out that the replacement probes are $180 !! The probes *should* last 18 - 24 months but that is a crazy price for a probe. I'm not willing to pay that myself. Just a heads up. ;)

I did not read the article but I had one once upon a time. They are not meant to be continuous readout and thus in my opinion a waste of money. And they are way expensive. Buy quality test kits and then fold over the money you saved and stick it back in your pocket.
