hi, here are some pics from my tank.
i'm new here and i've had my salt water tank for 3years.
once i had nano reef tank, it was approximately 25gal tank.
nano, I couldn't do something needed for my tank everyday, like
thermo controll(no chillers, add small ice cube or putting iced-pet,
water supplement, it was going to be bothersome.
so I let lots of creatures in my tank be dead not doing kinds of
work.
so I got my new 90gal tank. 60gal with 30 gal sump with new
chiller. it is very useful i think in Summer.
now sometimes i check up water condition in my tank,
somethimes do supplement work, that's all.
more comfortable than ever.

she (defenitely) is 2years and 4months old in my tank. now, a queen of three percula.

you look this picture carefully and you'll find him having fins
somewhat different from others. common percula's fins color is
body color with black. but he has all black fins. i think he is a kind
of mutation.

notorious powder blue surgeonfish. always chasing yellow tang. and trying to use cauda pedunclel spines. he looks qute only when he eats well. too well. he also eats yellow tang's caudal fin.
<a href="http://s342.photobucket.com/albums/o424/vinnysuh/?action=view¤t=DSCN22412.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i342.photobucket.com/albums/o424/vinnysuh/DSCN22412.jpg" border="0" alt="yellow tang"></a>
poor yellow. but eats well, too.

told me that its name is blue sided fariy wrasse. but it is somewhat different from what I saw searching on the internet.

Nice pics/tank. Your powder blue looks like he's starving and/or not getting the nutrition it needs. His back/shoulder area should be broad and full--it is very thin. I would bulk him up. They are notorious for not doing well in captive systems.

I think both of the tangs look awfully thin. Do you feed nori?
Vinny76
07/16/2008, 09:45 AM
is it seemed thin seriously? all the people who saw its pic said the same. and you may think like that because i took its pic as soon as i brought it from the shop at import day. i didn't feed them nori but sometimes i fed broccoli. mostly i feed them flakes and pellets. both powder and yellow tang eat preparations well.
does anyone suggest or recommend my tang's foods? yellow tang is approximately less than 7 cm long. i think it's juvenile.

Keeping 2 tangs in a 60 gal cube is cruel Do you think that it is ok that your powder blue is trying to kill your yellow tang? Eventually it will succeed .

i really should think about getting rid of the blue, for my yellow,
for the powder blue himself, is it ok if i get blue tang instead of
the powder blue?
i know he grows fast but actually i want to have a blue color fish.
minispider,
I can send you the powder blue by DHL or FedEX.
I only costed only 25$ for him, but i think D or F will charge you
more than 25$ from Korea to US lol
and I am not sure whether he is alive or not
just kidding : )
