My Light finally arrived!!!!
So after a very long and patient wait it showed up.
Because its a corner tank, I needed to ask around and find the light with the best shine area in order to cover the whole bottom of the tank. I want to be able to have clams, hard corals, the works.
The reflector is a Lumenarc III, which is supposed to be one of the best out there ... Personally I have no idea. The ballast is a 400 watt IceCap 120V electronic ballast and the bulb is a 14k Ushio SE MH Bulb.

This piece attached really easily, and came with a very long 15 foot cord. The light was very easy to assemble.

This piece is so heavy, and based on the cooling fins, I assume its going to get very hot. I think I am just going to screw it to the back of the stand ... will that work?

... And I was upgraded to the stealth version at no extra charge due to some seriously long shipping delays. The light will hang without a canopy over the tank, so looks were important. The reflector is encased in a very nice jet black stealth case, which also came with a sheet of protective glass designed for the light

Pics of the light hanging over the tank to come later today ... when its actually hanging over the tank lol
Thanks for looking
Any tips, hints or suggestions on hanging the light are greatly appreciated. I'm going to use airplane wire, plant hooks and turnbuckles (The way Quinn did his stairs)
