RO/DI problem I think

Have had filter running since 8/07 just changed all cartriges . Before change in with in line HM digital model #1 TDS meter. was 0 in and 0 out before change now 002 003 005 006 up and down psi out of membrane 70 lbs Is this good or bad . Need water right now have amonia again.

Use this water it's like my TDS before DI filter. At TDS of 6 it's not perfect but not bad either and way way better than ammonia.

What was your PSI before? Do you have a DI by-pass or flush valve that might have been changed? Did you take apart any of the tubing during the change?

Psi out of carbon 70 Have flush valve and no did not touch any tubeing .

6 ppm on the tds meter is not bad so I wouldn't let that prevent me from dealing with an ammonia issue.
Did you replace or clean the RO membrane when you were servicing the filter?

Did not touch membrane and this is od I let filter run in a 5 gal bucket about 2 1/2 gal and tds is 0 now. Realy don't want to fool with membrane.

DI resin cartrige turned light brown about three inches from bottom already Something
was wrong with this cartrige with this cartrige from the begining of use. Filter guys should send me a replacement .
