i posted a message a few days ago in the general disscusion and got some info but not a lot. i have these white spots on all the rocks. it may be bleaching but im not sure. some said it might be snail eggs but i only have a few snails and the spots are all over the rocks. some are spots, others areas is just white patches. how do i make the white go away and bring back my coraline. the cal. is good and so is the alk. any help would be great. thanks

"Spirorbids"

I can't find my picture right now, but I'll bet that's what you are seeing.

Had them myself. Still get them from time to time.

They are harmless.

Boomer has a picture in his archives.

do you have any tiny white star fish in your tank
in mine when they finished cleaning all the pink algae off my back glass they went to my rocks
thus white patches all over

Magnesium is important to help you maintain your alk and cal levels among other things
