Cubemaster seems to have dropped off radar on all my web searches. Bulb are (2) t5 8w 10k and (1) t5 8w o3actinic. Looks about 10 " length. 2 pin each side. Straight tubes.

Can't find any. I hate to rip the top and redo.

thanks for any hints

Zero posts there too. Just fell off the web altogether in the last few months. They had been advertising their 2008 model and had bulbs available. Now 'no such product' comes up on their site.

Live and learn.

Got a reply from OceanPro who sold the units. The Cubemaster is NO LONGER being made. The lights were also made just for the Cubemaster so no more of those. Looks like all Cubemaster owners will have to do a refit. Really sucks. Mine is only 8 months old. My first reef. I got too much money into the set up. Now I have to either rip the top off (it does not come off), or just dump it and get a standard tank and do my own lights which is probably what I will do.

There is a place called Goldfish Plus in covina california that has them. Pretty reasonable cost. Plus he ships.

When you call, if you call, just tell him you have cubemaster and need the T5's, you will need to know the length which it looks like you already do.

I've been searching for any type of retro kit for 8w T5 ighting. I struck out on the kits, but this link may be of interest. It looks like they have 10000k and actinic 8w T5 bulbs. However everything I've seen 8W are 12".

Just found replacement for your cubemaster on Ebay.

http://stores.ebay.com/Wholesale-Aquatic-Supplies_Lighting_W0QQcolZ4QQdirZ1QQfsubZ8312730QQftidZ2QQpZ2QQtZkm

But I would go with the first link. This ebayer wants $36 with shipping per bulb.

Found the bulbs on ebay. The seller makes a three light hood with stand that fits 10 and 5 gallon tanks. They ship from Hong Kong. Top with the three bulbs I need is $42 shipped. I am trying to get a price for just a case of bulbs.
