question about my blue tubs

so i have about 40 plus blue tubs that i just bought two days ago.
they are just fine but today when i came home
i realized that one polyp would close and the a couple more around it would close half way a little later
then they would open up again and continue this cycle

i didnt know what was going on so i decided to move the mother colony

i moved her and did a wc

so far everything else in the tank opened except for the blue tubs

is there something wrong with them?

i would have the same question. are tub blue is one of the harder zoas to keep?

check the colony for something that might be irritating it. ( Bad hitchhicker hiding in it, aptasia etc... )

exactly, when something is opening and closing, look for anything in the colony moving around.... even something as innocent as a pod.

tubs are easy to keep, and in general pretty fast grower. Look very closely at colony and see if you see anything bad - aptasia, nudi, sundial snail. Remove any irritants.

everything looks good to me. i actually moved them a little higher in my tank where there is more current
and now all of them open and never close unless i accidentally kneel down next to the tank really hard to look at them. oops haha
