I just bought a BTA on Saturday, and moved him in to my new tank. Everyday when the lights come on, her shrivels up. The lights are 8X54w T5 with moonlights. During the moonlight phase, he opens right up to about 10" diameter.

My guess is the lights are a bit too much. I can either A) let him get used to it, or B) build a shade from liverock or C) new option that you all give me. What does eveyone think?

He should be able to adjust to those lights, but it may take some time, and he may need some help from you. You can try lifting the lights higher off the tank and slowly drop them back down over the nest month or two. Or, you can place a few sheets of window screen over the tank right above the anemone and remove one layer at a time until the anemone can withstand the lights.
