so, i have a lot of mushrooms growing in one area of my tank and not much else in any other area, is it possible to move some of the shrooms to another area of the tank without damaging them?

Is it possible to literally just rip a mushroom off a rock and then let it anchor in a new spot?
My LFS has a mushroom about the size of a half dollar right now that I have never seen before. It is pretty much indigo. I can't even really describe it but maybe some of you out there have something similar. I really want it but it is at the bottom of the tank on one of the bottom rocks so they can't really get it out.
I have thought about just offering them some money to just rip it off and try my luck.

You can get one of those little ice packs you use for your lunch from Target. Freeze it, and get it close to the foot of your shroom (not quite touching). The mushroom will move away from the cold, albeit slowly, and onto a piece of rubble you provide. It takes around 10 minutes per.
