Hi

We have 2 different Balling methode
the first the classical Version was developted 20 years ago
and think a lot over the ionic inbalances.
That was the reason why at the classical methode the Magnesiumsulfate will be add also.

The light Version from Fauna Marin is for modern reef tanks and a lot of tests showed the the sulfate will not necessary if you make the regular water changes like we said in the manual.
