Right now, i'm using kalk in a reactor, which runs through my ATO system. Can i just add vinegar to my Top off resevoir? How vinegar do i add?

That should do the trick ;)

Hope that helps :)

It is technically difficult to add vinegar with a reactor. Few people do it. You'd need to somehow inject vinegar into it. Vinegar cannot simply be added to a fresh water top off reservoir because bacteria will convert it into CO2, which would be bad for a reactor.

It is easy, however, to mix vinegar and lime together into freshwater, and the high pH prevents bacterial growth. I'm not a big fan of doing that, but it is easy. :)
