Cleaning the vat used for storing RO water

What is the best cleaning agent for a vat used to store RODI water? How about hydrogen peroxide?

I'd like to know as well, my salt mixing cans get NASTY. They get this brownish muck in em, mostly at the bottom.

I use vingar to wash than rinse with hydrogen peroxide on all the tubs that I keep my RO/DI water in.
