I just got back from a small regional pet industry trade show and saw a couple new products that caught my eye. Glanced around RC and did not see anything on either yet (though I admit I didn't look real hard). All pictures were taken from a camera phone.

The first is A new nano tank from Current. It is identical to the solana but has a solid curved front. The tank comes shipped inside the pre assembled stand.

The second was a 4 powerhead controller from hydor. Digital display. Each powerhead was individually controllable and the front of the controller had a data port to interface with your pc and download preset wave patterns matching a geographical area and season.

Hydor also had their 110vac 5,6,7, and 8 powerheads. They are shaftless as the impeller sits directly on the magnet. The motor also has some minor circuitry built in to shut voltage off if the impeller is hit by something (fish or snail). They also soft start so should work on any wave timer.

Oh Santa,

I saw the Koralia system online for about 300, The pumps for that wavemaker were 12v if I recall correctly. Either way I still like it, could you tell if the flow was the same as the current ones?

I didn't know about the computer conection. cool.

I am such a gadget freak. :rolleye1:

The 12v 1-4's flow the same as their 110vac brothers. They had a #6 operational and it was insane how much flow was coming out of a single powerhead. If I remember right the #8 was over 2000gph.
