SW PH-flow question

It appears at a higher PH going from 7.9 up to 8.2 that the water flow increases and theres definitely more "splashing" on the surface from the power heads. This happens after dripping lime water. Is this something that happens to others, can someone explain ?

Its like the water is "thiner" or "lighter"

I am certain that any such observation of a correlation between pH and splashing is coincidence. :)
