The LFS where I shop I have stopped going there in rockville MD.
They keep selling broken skimmers and stuff missing and they do not allow refunds.

Total ripoff. My phosban inner tube is broken and leaks like crazy...

I'm really happy with the big bucket of granular media from bulk reef supply. Not sure you can argue with the price, especially if you are able to buy a bunch of buckets at once;)

test with a PO4 kit :D but even then they usually don't read well enough unless your using a chlorimeter (sp.)

most ppl will change the media out once a month though.

There's a RK or AA article here somewhere that says Rowaphos costs a lot more and is not any better.

I'm currently trying out Reef Pure PHOSaR media in mine.

It was recommended to me and costs lest than phosban media. So far I haven't noticed a difference between the two.
