Looks cool!

Do you have the scientific name? It looks more like a goby to me.

I vote blenny since it has not a suction cup fin but the 2 little leg things under it.

Has anyone seen a tesselated blenny? they're possibly more awesome

Using a little creative research using the file name I found it. It is a nebeka blenny.

Since it is found around Japan it would probably be exceptionally hard to find/get in the U.S.

The other one I posted lives off oil rigs in the gulf of mexico inside barnacle skeletons. Read about it in a local florida book i picked up.

Smoothdog is a google master like me. Yes I found the picture looking for information about Wrought Iron Butterflyfish, which i found zero info on. They are found in Japan, and you will probably find as much information about that blenny as I found on Wrought Iron Butterfly's. Regards, Tim

Doh! :mad2: I just realized I spelled the name wrong and it's too late to go back and fix it. It's a nabeka blenny.

That Wrought Iron Butterflyfish looks sweet!

Scientific name of the yellow blenny is Omobranchus elegans. This may help your LFS search for one.
