View Full Version : Any good books?
Hello! I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good book about saltwater fishes. I am looking for one that has the most information about the most fish (i.e. eating habits, temperament, survivability, etc.). Also, maybe another one that has saltwater fish diseases and their treatments. (Or, if there is one book that has both things that would be great!) Any help is appreciated!

For a wide-ranging guide, I think Scott Michael's pocket guides are great (A PocketExpert Guide to Marine Fishes and A PocketExpert Guide to Reef Aquarium Fishes).
For more in depth info, his Reef Fishes series is great, but has the downside that it's unfinished, and a lot of the "favorite" fishes are in the books that are yet to come.

I agree with Wolverine but I also favor books by Anthony Calfo which are less about specific fish than about husbandry.
