Salt water?

Was wondering how long premixed sw will keep for. I have never kept longer than 10 days but was just wondering. :)

Depends on the brand and whether it has organics in it like vitamins, but without such additives, the salt mix is basically good forever. IO is good for a very long time, but Reef Crystals may be more limited, for example.

At the moment I have been using the red sea salt mix.

I just mix what I need, in case I accidently mixed more than I need the left over usually not much and I just left it in the shade until next time I have to change the water again,normally with in 2 week,never have any problem with it.
