Purple Macro Algae help

I have some macro algae growing in my nano which is the exact same purple color as the coraline, but it has thick walls and oval cells filled with clear liquid..it has the consistency of kelp
It is encroaching on some of my coral. Some of it can be easily pulled off but other parts are harder to remove....
Can anybody id it for me and give me a solution (other than water changes).....anything eat it?
