Kalk Timing !

Hi ,,,,

I have 80g sps tank , i dosing kalk with top off and i dont have calcium reactor , today i bring kalkwasser sterilizer with dosing pump (3L/h) and timer , how can i set the kalkwasser timer for my 80g sps tank ?

Hmm do you have a Float Switch to attach to the doser pump? It would dose the Kalk water as top off automatically so you would not have to worry about putting it on a time or dosing it yourself..?

I just use my ATO to control the Kalk going into display. It has worked great.

One strong WARNING either have it controlled by a timer as you say. IE A digital one from a hardware store, Set it for just a Little more then what it needed for your system.

I have a second float about 1" above the first, In the return area that will control if the lower one sticks.

Make sure that you soak the floats in Vinegar every few months or so, To keep then trouble free.
