I have a 180 gal fo, one large puffer, a lunear warsse, a small porcupine, yellow tang, sailfin tang and a large black trigger.

I have a nice arrangment of rock and while I enjoy watching the fish, anyone that takes a look always ends up saying - Where are the corals?

I was thinking of introducing apastia into the tank. Big mistake or reasonable solution?

If you want corals dont get apastia's in the tank. I kept sps
corals for 8 years, apastia's are a pest to any corals. You
will regert it.

I think he is saying that instead of corals he wants aptasia.

I still wouldn't do it. They sting, for one thing. I don't see anything on the list that would prevent you from keeping corals. Your puffers may sample them, but other than that, I wouldn't worry.

Get some nice leathers and other "noxious" softies and you will be all set.

Kung, tmoore thanks for your comments.

I don't have a chiller and my house gets pretty hot during the day so I haven't had too much luck with corals and that's why I'm mainly fish.

The idea of apastia was just too try and get something on those rocks.

Maybe I'll try some leathers or some local anemones from the Med.
