very sick, big leather

I was in for surgery, and my tank was not well cared for. This moring I found my leather drooped over. Water tests all looked good, but I did a 10% water change anyway. I think the flow was low, I cleaned everything & the tank looks good, but I am very worried about the leather. REALy droopy, and it is so big I am afraid if it dies overnight, it will crash the tank.

Thoughts, what should I do???

but since you are here..

a l;eather being droopy is no big deal. they often can do this and then shed soemtimes afterwards/ However, if it is soft rotting flesh that you can put your finger through.....instead of somewhat firm flesh that is a different story. if that is the case, remove it from the system, take scissors and cut off firm parts removing all the rotting flesh and see if you can get those parts to take again.

if any of it is rotting run carbon, if you have sps run carbon anyway
