View Full Version : Wavebox and oscilating return?

Anyone have experience with 2 tunze waveboxes in the large tank (720G) and an OM 4-way on the return (or on a closed loop) with a reeflo baracuda (or dart) running about 2000GPH through the OM?

I love the OM product, and am a proponent of random flow, but am concerned that the varying current from the OM will counteract the wave effect from the wavebox

Anyone have an opinion (or better yet first hand experience)

Mark

Hello Mark, the OM will not counteract with your tunze wave boxes but you will notice 2 waveboxes may not be efficient for such large tank. You may need at least 3 IMO

Thanks, I am a few months away from actual water in the tank, but trying to get things lined up. I can easily add the 3rd wavebox once I have water in and can test the flow and wave.

Thanks for all your help on both these posts,

Mark

No problem Mark. Good luck with the new large tank...
