AGA, all glass....yada yada yada.... Looking at the top fins at the store cause there cheap, lol. Yea, I now in this hobby nothing is cheap, but, is there a reason I should not get one? Other than glass being glass, do they not use good silicone or something? I can get a 75gal new for $150-ish. I like new because that meens new silicone that has not been stressed out and weakened by other chemicals.
Good, bad, ugly or not a concern on this brand?

I have no experience with them, but I believe they are rebranded oceanic tanks. Look around for the oceanic logo.

Are any of the top fin aquariums reef-ready?
That would be one of my requirements, I'm no good at drilling glass.

I have a few topfin aquariums, and they have been great for several years. The one downside is that they don't come reef-ready.

I dont want one reef ready as I have plans for some drilling, so, a basic unit would be fine for me.
Well, thats two for "rebranded". One for AGA and one for oceanic ......hmm... lol.

AGA and Oceanic are one in the same.
What I would look for in choosing a marine tank is thickness of glass---often a hidden factor in cost.
Because a marine tank supports sharp-edged rocks that may roll if undermined, and that may rest a huge weight on one tiny point on the glass, because of its irregular shape, a single tap can cause a crack.
To avoid this, get the thickest glass reasonable, and also lay down a sheet of eggcrate light diffusing grid on the tank bottom. It will not adversely impact sandbed quality, but it will help keep sand from moving AND will both prevent rocks from rolling and distribute rock weight more generally over the bottom.
HTH.

If you have drilling plans, make sure you find out which panes might be tempered on the size you are buying. You won't be able to drill those sides.
Other than that, I see no reason why it wouldn't be fine.

Being corrected is such a double edged sword. On one hand, you sound like an idiot and on the other you learn valueable information.
Thanks all.
