Hi,

I have a question. I recently sold my Nikon D50. It was a great camera. However. I always had problem with taking pictures under actinic light. I tried all white balance settings including manual one, and still I could not get desired colors.

At this time, I am planning to purchase Nikon D300. Can you tell me a little bit about this camera's white under actinics?

Thanks!

RAW is your friend.

ive got a D300 and as mentioned above RAW is your best bet.

The white balance is adjusted witha simple click of an eye dropper in an area of the picture that you know should be gray/white and you are pretty much done.

Excellent saturation and contrast too.
