My Freind made a dumb desician.

My freind just got to his house and said he got a pictus frogfish for $75. He has no prior knowledge of frogfish and I tolled him he was stupid for doing this.

The upside on this to improve its survival is that it is excepting krill and guppies(try to get it of live foods).

He has a 29g aquarium with a HOB filter and skimmer.

Do guys think this frogfish has much of a chance? or do think he should refund it for the full price?(you can return it for a full price with in 24hrs)

If it is a Antennarius pictus, than it can get up to 10". IMO that is too big for his tank. Especially if he wants any other fish in there with it as I'm sure it'd eat anything else in the tank that would otherwise be an appropriate sized fish for that tank. Trade it in, and get something that doesn't get so big.

Return it. He's got a lucky break if he can swing the full refund. Impluse buys are foolish buys. I learned this the hard way, he may have to as well.
