MH Pendants

Are they some tanks with just MH pendants only, If so how is the light spillage and how far off the tank are they? I want something better than my retro T5 it looks horrible and the wife wants something "nicer"

Its going in the living room and I want to be able to see not be blinded by the lights.

i would go with 2 X 150W/175W 14K pendants, or one 14K and one 20K to create an illusion of the water being deeper on one end.

height: 8" from the surface is usually the norm.
