What do you guy do in order to achieve rich in oxygen?
I know Achillies tang needs lots of water movement
and Oxygen in the system in order to keep them healthy.

what about powder blue tang, do they also required
lots of oxygen?

Thanks for looking.

Decreasing the temperature and aeration (protein skimmer, turbulent flow) helps

Crashing water every where you can without creating bubbles in the display is good. Ozone can also help. Strong skimmer is a sure fire way as well.

A good skimmer really helps.

Your water can also hold a lot more oxygen at 70 degrees than it can at 90 degrees. This isnt to say you should have 70 degree water, but you get the idea.

Also, I always have a lot of surface agitation going, something as simple as a powerhead or two aimed up so that they ripple the surface a little. If you get a lot of water to the surface, then you have a lot of water that outputs CO2 from the tank and it takes in oxygen.

I would like to mention that keeping a clean aquarium can go a very long way to keeping your oxygen levels up. Sediments and films in the water can really take up a lot of oxygen in a tank.

i've had great success with achilles tangs with lots of turbulent flow, and a giant skimmer

skimmers are a big part and powder heads toward the surface are great too.

All of these are excellent. Creating turbid surface area is essential (via power heads or similar), protein skimmer add a LOT. Lower temperatures help a lot as well.

are micro bubbles in the water good for the fish?
