I saw the Aquascience T5 bulbs on Cherry Corals website. I have talked to Todd about these bulbs. I was wondering if you could tell me what the bulbs are similar to in another manufacturer's bulb for comparision. For example is the 22k bulb like a ATI Blue Plus or UVL Super Actinic? I am going to need six T5 bulbs soon to go in my new light fixture. I am trying to see what bulbs you would pair with a single 400 watt radium metal halide bulb? All the T5's will be 36 inches.
Thanks

The AquaScience Blue 22k would be similar to an ATI Blue plus. From my experience, this bulb has given me better results than the ATI bulb.

Hmmmmmmm, 6 bulbs paired with a Radium.

I don't have a Radium here to play with bulb combinations. Do you want a more blue color or do you want to offset some of the blue coming from your Radium?

I am starting to like the bluer look. I used to be a 10k bulb guy with actinics only. But now that I have used radiums and helios bulbs, I like the color. Here is what I was thinking (front to back):

AS Blue 22k
UVL super actinic
ATI pro color
ATI aquablue or GE 6500k
UVL super actinic
AS Blue 22k

I am open to other suggestions, additions, or deletions

I would replace the AquaBlue for an AS DUO. The DUO has a slight hint of blue, but a bit more on the whiter side.
