How long passed the expiration date can Fauna Marin products be used?

The reason I ask is because I have about 2/3 of a 250ml bottle of UltraMin S that expired the end of July. Would you say it is safe to say it is still good for a month or so?

You'll know that the bottle is no good when it gives off a strong odor. I still have a bottle that expired back in May and I haven't seen any adverse effects.

Expirations were put on bottles for legal import requirements they really have no relevance to the product itself. On later bottles due to rule changes this is now not sucha requirement.

As said above you WILL know when a product has expired or is expiring.

We use normaly a shelf life of one year
but mostly the products are good for
minimum 2years
only the foods and the Ultrabio cannot storage so long time

U Min S will smell very badly if it is not longer good

It is good to know that the expiration date is not an issue.

Now on to the UltraBio. How long is safe time frame to use the product until since it does contains nitrifying bacteria & heterotriphic bacteria?

Same question here I just ordered all this stuff from a distributor and all the experation are about ready to expire or are expired

ultra bio05-08 50ml no smell
ultraamin 11-14-08 500ml smell bad
ultra bak 07-02-08 500ml doesn't smell to bad
ultra min s 7-2-08 500ml smell bad

Should I contact them and ask for fresh stuff? I am just starting the fauna sytem, I have a 100g tank and bought larger bottles so it would last longer

What are you thoughts

I really do not no what the stuff should smell like

Regarding UltraBio... Has there been any changes to the formula since it is now being offered in ampoules versus the 50ml bottle?

You can use both products both will do they work

There is only a change in the production and the botteling

We have a lot of costumers which prefers the ampoules some prefers the bottles.

Is there a recommended storage practice for the ampoules once they have been opened if you do not need to dose for a 1000 liter aquarium?

For example: Since I cam currently dosing 3 drops of UltraBio a day should I just transfer the open ampoule to the UltraBio bottle I have or would you recommend a different practice.

in the refrigerator so you can use it for long time
