ReefOctopus Calcium Reactor question

Are these things supposed to come with instructions or a manual? Mine came with a very rudimentary diagram showing line connections and I have a few questions about operation.

my octopus kalk reactor came with a diagram but no manual. I guess this is the way they do business.

I have the same problem with mine. After some research I was able to find instructions here:

I believe that this is the same one I bought at the LFS. They told me that the reactors do not come with instructions. Does not make much sense to me but....
