I bought a used booster aquatec 8800 pump that i just installed. we usually have low PSI at about 40psi or lower, and somtimes its high around 60psi.

today its 60 psi. i isntalled the pump and it went up to 90psi with 100psi being the highest number on the gauge. what's the highest it can be?

also, if i were to upgrade and add another 75GPD membrane and flow restrictor, could i still use the booster pump?

With that pressure on your feedwater the pump could be adjusted to well over 100 psi. Keep it under 90 psi.

The pump can handle up to about 120 gpd in membranes.

would using the:

BFS-324 Adjustable pressure regulator

be something i should be looking for?

or is there something out there that i could use in case theres a sudden change in PSI and it goes to 100psi?
