Is it bleaching or tissue loss? Rapid tissue loss at the base of an SPS, especially Acropora is indicative of Rapid Tissue Necrosis. I would wait for others to chime in before you rely on my advice which would be to frag off any remaining good bits. If it is however bleaching than I would reduce the amount the coral receives by:
1. Reducing the lighting period
2. Removing it from indirect lighting
3. Put layers of screen over the location of the coral.

Gently acclimate back. Corals could take quite a while to recover from bleaching, it has been about three to four weeks for mine and it is now almost fully returned to its' original color.
