Title says it: there's a great scarcity of pix in the corallimorpharian forum. There are some new folk who'd like to keep shrooms, and I'd like to show them how showy a shroom tank can be.

I want to see also... I dont like mushrooms in a reef tank. But in a mushroom only that is cool

Back in the old days, when ONLY mushrooms and buttons would thrive in our crushed-coral reefs with bad lighting, I had a really great one...100g of sweeps of green buttons going up an arch, other rocks with greenstripes, purples and even browns and verdigris discosomas jostling each other in patches, some gsp, and yellow star, and every rock surface alive. It would withstand a nuclear blast (very stable) and had a pretty high wow factor.

And I think it's really an excellent starting spot for beginners to learn how to keep these very demonstrative softies happy...if you can keep non-pricey mushrooms lush, you'll do fine with crankier things as your budget, gear, and committment increases. You just have to be prepared to trade some rock.

I'd like to see some pics too! I've been thinking about setting up an office tank, and was seriously considering going shroom heavy in it since they're so damn tough.

Here's my 29g softy tank, it's in the bedroom so I can just watch everything sway back and forth while I drift to sleep.

My tank is a 180g so ric dominated would be pretty pricey! But, the left side of my tank does have ALOT of shrooms!

That's really cool. I've always been a fan of mushrooms. seems like nice ones are hard to find here in California

Beautiful.
I'm hoping to encourage people to consider keeping these critters, starting with the easy ones and working up. And you guys are giving a real good example of what's possible.
