Taking established filter from the main tank and placing it in your hospital tank is a good way to make sure there is enough filtration going on.
My situation is that I have some quick filter (hagen) attachments to some powerheads i'd like to place in my quarantine tank. My question is the difference of Sponge filters vs Bioballs. I have both, and was wondering .. of a given volume ..which will be a better filtration media for my hospital tank ?
AND as a bonus question .. Will there be a difference in choice if i were to run paraguard OR hyposalinity.
Thanks in advance.
