The sump that was running on the tank I recently bought ended up with a crack on the side near the top. It is not on a seam. It is in the upper portion of the return section. How can I seal it so that it won't leak? I know silicone won't work for seams, but will it work for sealing a crack?

Mike, your just helping me out with everything. Thanks. I was hoping I wouldn't have to use that since I don't know anyone local that sells it. Oh well, guess I gotta suck it up. ;)

I bought an 80 gallon sump made from 1/2" acrylic, but one end was badly broken.

I cut off the end with a circular saw & bought a new end piece at the acrylics shop & glued it on with weldon #3.
