so my yellow clown goby has been sitting on my sps's and every so often, he pecks at the coral. at first i thought there may be pods or something to eat. but the more i see it now, it seems like the clown goby is "nipping" at my sps.. any agreement? im giving it away. i just want to make one final post about it before its gone to a new home.

From what Ive read, they will tear out the polyps on sps when making a nest for breeding. But this is considered minimal damage and most will agree that the corals recover quickly from it.

Ive had mine in my mixed reef for over 8 months without any damage noted to corals.

He should be okay, unless you see obvious damage.
