Hello.
A nearby LFS has the following anemones to chose from. Can you please ID them for me and tell me if maroon clowns will stay in them.
Sorry picture quality is not good as these photos were taken with my phone camera.

Is no 1 a bubble tip? do they regularly have those green tips?
does it look healthy?
No2 is very white and I don't want to take the risk with it but I'm interested in knowing what it is
How about No 3?

Is this picture above a bubble tip anemone?

finally the last one

Is this one also a bubble tip?
I have apreference for bubble tip anemone and if all three abovea are bubble tip anemones please indicate if I should buy the one with green tips or not?
Thanks for your help

From first picture N 3 is a carpet (can't tell which type of carpets this is from this picture) many will tell you to stear away from carpets as they are notorious fish eaters. HAve one in my tank and only ate or at least captured 3-4 dead fish in my tank for 6-7 years.
still Maroon clowns will not host in it.
Sorry can't help with the other ones but I'm guessing LTA? maybe others will chime in with more accurate info.
One small advice will be to research anemone care before getting one. also maybe post in the anemone and clown forum for more info if you don't get good info here.
all look really nice especially the fluorescent green carpet. The one in the second picture could have some issues as I believe the mouth is wide open? still this is just a guess as the picture quality is not really good.

no1 looks like a ritteri (H. magnifica) to me, as does the second picture. the white one could be a sebae, they often come bleahed out like that. I'd say that the last pic also looks like it could be a sebae with the purple tips, although normally their tentacles aren't fully out unless they are hosting. I can't say on no3 w/o a better picture.

Numbers 1-3 look like H. Magnifica to me. Though may be questionable on number 3.
Same for the second picture.

The third might be a sebae, possibly LTA.
